Alright, i've finally broken down and decided i need to track my progress. I figured getting a journal going would be a good way to keep me motivated and organized as well, so lets hope it works. First off, the stats, all are done cold and flexed as i sit in front of my keyboard.

Shoulders: 49 inches
Chest: 42.5 inches
Waist: 33 inches
Bi/Tri: 15 inches
Forearms: 13 inches
Quads: 23 inches
Calves: 15 inches

Tell me if i forgot any, i'm 6'1" and 18 years old. I don't know what my bodyfat is, i'd guess around 12%, i'll throw some pics up later on tonight. I'm going to focus on a good strength/mass split, focus on heavy compounds and eat not far above maintenance calories, see where that puts me. Any comments or advice are welcome.

Any critiques are appreciated, BF% guesses are a plus as well. I just joined a new gym, so yesterdays workout was pretty hectic, Back and Bi's, mostly trying out different machines, it was my first time in a real gym, very exciting. Did cable rows, machine rows, supersetted reverse and regular grip curls, tried the curl machine(which i hated with a passion), and did some rear delt work in the cable machine(best burn i've EVER felt there). 3 sets on each machine of 6-12 reps to failure, fooled around with weight alot. Getting the 24 hour access card tomorrow, 20bucks one time then 30 a month for membership and i can go any time of the day or night, joy. When i go tomorrow i'm going to start bringing a little binder to keep track of weights and record my progrees.

Hey there SN; good luck with your mass/strength gains. Your stats are pretty similar to mine a year or so ago. After seeing your pics, I think you should concentrate heavily on your chest, upper arms, back (I know how hard it is getting a crazy V-shape at 6 feet), and maybe legs. Delts, forearms, and traps all look pretty sweet. I figure your guess of 12% bodyfat is pretty accurate. How much you weighing in at? Peace...

weight is at about 180 at the moment. As far as diet and split goes, i'm in the process of figuring out how many calories i'm eating, because i'm pretty much maintaining at the moment. Split goes

Chest/tri
Back/b
x
shoulders
legs

and every once in awhile when i feel i need it i throw another rest day in after legs. I do cardio and abs twice a week.
