I know theres a few veggies around here, I'm curious what your diets are like? I was a veggie up until a few months ago when I got pissed off and introduced fish into my diet. I feel guilty about it and wouldnt mind going back to my tree huging ways! What are you eating?

I'm going to start posting my diet tonight, in fact. /forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif It'll probably be around midnight (central time) when I do, but it will definitely be up tomorrow. The link to my journal is in my signature, and it will be the most recent page. /forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

May I ask what your reasoning is behind being a vegetarion, rock lobster? I'm just curious. I know some people do it because they do not like to eat things that were once alive, but others do it because they don't like to eat red meat.

Jenkies, personally I *love* the taste of meat and miss stake very very much /forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif but I just cant eat it knowing that it was once part of a beautiful animal that was butchered!

Man, that's got to be tough lovin' the taste of meat and not being able to eat it. I honestly can say that I give ya mad props for being able to have taste for steak and still stick to your personal choice of being a vegetarian. Rock on bro.
Yeah, Syddles is a great example of successful meatless bodybuilding. She is a hardcore athlete and her diet is dialed in. Heck, I might be able to handle her diet. I love oats, veggies, and cottage cheese.

I know this is a really old thread, but could someone show me where to find Syddie's journal with her diet?
I'm new to this site and to bodybuilding and I've been a vegetarian for 10 years and need some help!
Thanks

I am in fact a vegan (did my signature or pic give it away?)... This is my current cutting diet
STATS
Age: 22 years
Weight: 201 pounds
Height: 6"1
Body fat: 19%
LBM: 164.5 pounds
GOALS
1) Cut down to about 11% or as close as I can get before Oct, when I will start bulking with the new season.
2) I want to increase to a LBM of 180-185 by this time next year
DIET
7:15 Multi Vit/ 5gCreatine/ 5gGlutamine/
Bowl of 50g oats/30g soya protein and 250ml soya milk
10:30 Meal of 25g tofu 300g mixed pulses, kidney beans/lentils/different types of beans 50g quinoa 25g brown rice.
13.30 28g soya shake and 40g oats
16:30 Same as 10:30 meal
19:30 200g soya and "spicy lentil soup" (lentils beans etc)
20:30 Train
22:00-22:30 PWO Protocol with soya substituted in for whey
In addition to the usual sups (creatine, glutamine, vitC and) I also supplement with 500mg L-Methionine at this time.
23:30 - Leafy green veg / broccoli / Flaxseed oil /
00:00 ZMA and Bed
Things I am concerned about
Only 7.5 hours sleep -
I supplement with Methionine - is PWO the best time for this?
Any and all comments are greatly appreciated...
Cheers
