Triset:
- Decline Pulldowns
- Pulldowns to the front
- Close Grip Pulldowns

Place an incline bench in the front of the pulldown machine, grab the bar and perform 12-6 reps (2 seconds concentric, 2-3 seconds eccentric and 1-2 seconds peak contraction). Once the failure is reached, go the pulldown-bench and rep to failure with the same weight, cheat if needed to get the last reps, when failure is reached there, re-grip to close grip and go to failure on this one as well.

One more little trick, on the last rep of every exercise, perform prolonged peak contraction and VERY slow negative.

This little tri-set will set your lats on such fire, you never thought existed!

Stay hardcore! /forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Wow! /forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif I'm honored! Thanks Oldschool!

Repeat it 3-5 times and rest around 60 seconds between sets! /forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Aren't Those Pressdowns and not pull downs!

I like to keep it simple but deadly

I start with skull crusher (barbell)...very slow, I love this exercise, it pumps me up so much. I like to increase the weight on the last (third) set).

Then I go to close grip push downs...rope, lat bar...don't matter...this exercise is key, just make sure your form is tight. I see so many people bending over and they end up using their chest more than their triceps

then I finish with dips, again very slow, contract the muscles hard at the top...concentration is key as always

Then if I still have anything left, I grab a "light" dumbell for some extensions to failure...sometimes I'll do that in between dip sets just for fun

This will work every single muscle fiber in your triceps to a pulp...

Gee-man and davidlp-

I think the title is confusing... OS is refering the three (tri) exercises. It is a routine for really working the lats- not triceps. I had to think about it for a minute also...

So on the decline pulldowns are you facing the stack or facing away from it? And why would you move stations, would'nt you just jump on to the actual pull down seat and work from there.
