i need to build explosive power in my legs for sport, and understand using plyametric (right spelling?) exercises is one of the most effective ways of doing this.i remember a personal trainer showing me a couple of exercises using weights and plyametrics together a couple of years back but cant remember much and jus need sum ideas on what kind of exercises i should be doing (+ ne other useful information on this type of training).cheers

Plyometrics work really well for explosive leg power. Skipping high knee raises and jumping rope work really well for leg strength. Those are the only ones I can think of right now.

The best way to increase explosive power for your sport is to practice the criterion skill in your sport explosively.

I.E. muscular power is not a general attribute but is specific to the task.
