Has anyone had any experience with these products?

They are a little pricy but decided to give them a shot. The cytogainer calls for 4 scoops per serving but I usually just mix 1 scoop with 1 scoop of ON Whey which yeilds about 37g of protien for pre and post workout shakes.

I'll use the muscle milk in the morning for a breakfast shake on non-workout days and again before I go to bed every night. Again I'll mix 1 scoop of ON Whey with 1 scoop of the muscle milk.

Is there anything wrong with mixing the products? I'm just trying to make them last a little longer and it tastes great in water.

Both also say that they have something like 3g of creatine per serving as well.

That's some pretty insane info, Joe! /forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif In Sweden we are blessed enough to have less crappy supps than in America though, so I've never seen it here. But it's good to know nonetheless.

Want to know some useless fact? The president of Cytosport used to work for Champion Nutrition. Champion marketed Muscle Milk (and it's EXACT contents) but sold it to pet stores and vets for large dogs. Basically, it was dog food.

The now president of Cytosport wanted to change the market for Muscle Milk and use it on athletes. The higher ups of Champion found that rather disgusting, as it was dog food (had a picture of the dog on the container and everything). So he left and started his own company, Cytosport, and stole the recipe for Muscle Milk, added just a dash of sugar to make it taste better, and marketed it towards athletes under the name of Muscle Milk. Champion sued Cytosport, but lost due to the fact that the ingredients were margionally different (only by about 150mg of sugar) and it was marketed towards humans, not pets. None the less, Cytosport was in debt for the first 5 years of its existance, but depended soley on the success of Muscle Milk.

Their entire company is founded upon dog food. /forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Wow - that's incredible. I was looking at the contents the other day and wasn't impressed. That's amazing that it started out as dog food.

Man, that's some crazy fact. I don't get it though. Why is champion making supplements for dog? I am just wondering because I recently finished a container of champion whey protein. BTW, I took cytogainer over 4 months ago. I think it worked alright for me as PW but there are better ones. Plus I am not sure if the 3g creatine has any great effect as they marketed. Since it's monohydrate. I would think one would have to load prior to see the effects.

I know a few lovely ladies that say that all men are dogs. Must be because we are eating the same thing. haha

LOL at Joe!

Plus, as BrothaMan said when this came up the other day, the name "Musclemilk" is just wrong on so many levels.

****, didn't know all that Joe! I took Musclemilk for about 6 months. Yes I bulked up, but I also got fat! Fat that I'm still trying to loose doing the 13 week cut. I also found myself completely out of breath all the time, and I noticed that two shakes goes over the RDA for saturated fats! Which is a no-no anyway! Next time I bulk, I'll be doing a clean bulk!
