Hello all, these are some pics from my last competition. I am just under 4 weeks away from my next show. Hopefully I will have made some improvements to my body since my last show. Please feel free to critique and add any constructive criticism that you see fit. In these shots I was 153lbs at just under 4% bodyfat. I hope to go into my next show at 156lbs with about the same or lower bodyfat. I normally run offseason about 163lbs at 7-8%bodyfat. I have a crazy fast metabolism for my age(38). I can usually eat just about any and all things that I want. I bench about 250-260 max and I squat max around 405. I have done squats deep with as much as 315 for 18 reps(thought I would die...lol). So let me know what you think and any thoughts that you may have. Thnx a bunch and luv ABC website. http://community.webshots.com/user/tokyo_vice

Thnx Sicily,
My calves are bigger and more cut now than before. My quads are bigger with a little more sweep. I have more cuts in them with striations. I have been told that I put more size on in my back, chest and bi's. I am taking their word for it becuase I am really critical of myself. Right now my diet is basically rice, chicken, lean steak for midday meal. I cheat with rice cakes and no fat jam or some whole wheat bread and jam. I am at just about a no fat diet right now. My fat intake for a day is 8-10% of my daily diet. I am watching my sodium intake now but not really hard untill I am 2 weeks out. Then I cut soduim to a min with just rice, chicken, water, diluted Gatorade, some fruit. I watch the fruit becuase of the simple sugars. I am 160lbs now and I need to be at 156lbs at contest time. I train 5 days a weeks and do cardio 6-7 days a weeks now. Cardio is either stepper or recumbant bike for 20mins. Increasing to 30 as of next week.

Happy B-day Rich, funny that is my girlfriends B-day as well. You should try for a couple of years still before you think of competing. Get some solid years of trainin and get a good base. Stick to basic excersies to get the foundation. Bench,Squats,Deadlifts and Rows for your back. I am a certified trainer and so as me about anything that you need to know. I have been competing for about as long as you have been alive...lol.

It's all good dude. I guess I just was a bit thin skinned when you said that you can't go anywhere in the sport without JUICE. I felt like you were downing what I had spent a lot of years working for. I was well aware of why my posts were deleted. Your complaints were duely noted. I just refrained from making any comments about it. I realize that I will never be 200lbs with 50" chest. But I think I look ok at 160lbs with 28" waist and 42" chest. Our philosophys on bodybuilding are different due to our expierences and exposure to the sport.
I just see a lot young people on this site that have a very distored veiw of what bodybuilding is and can be. I wish that they would take a look at Natural Physique magazine. Yea some of those people take AS or pro-hormones but the vast, vast majority of people in there do not and they look **** good. I know several people in the last months issue personally and I know that they do not take juice. I have read your training journal and think that you gave up too soon on being natural. You had a great base to start but your overtraining may have limited your progress(my opinion only for what it's worth). So get well soon and get back in the gym. You have people who like hearing about your progress. Where ever they can get some inspiration to keep training, so be it.

You look awesome! I am with you on the "au naturel" thing... but that's just my opinion.
GOOD LUCK with your competition--I look forward to seeing the next set of pix!
