Post your diet and current routine and split and you will get a lot of feedback. You will at least be able to see if you are going in the right direction. Your pics are a little fuzzy. But you do look like you are in need of some mass. I would eat everything, but try to do it somewhat clean, to avoid having to lose a ton of it later. From what I can tell you look like you have decent traps, and definition in your arms, but need to really work those shoulders, and back. Your shoulders and back are going to give you your most noticeable size gains visually right away. Well glad to see your lifting and welcome to ABC.

C'mon guys, you're making it seem hopeless for him!

Golfer951, you're not too far from my height and weight (5'10" at 160lbs...I'm now at 185 and 11.5%BF ) when I started lifting 2 years ago. It seems as though you got a metabolism that works against you gaining weight, but that can be remedied too. Just eat more good healthy foods, intake plenty of protein, lift heavy and get plenty of rest. With dedication, you'll grow to a level you would never have thought possible.

Good luck friend!

Last summer I weighed about the same as you do now and I am a little taller, too. Now I weigh 165. I am finishing up my first cut, when I started cutting I weighed 172. So if you keep training hard and eat a lot (especially protein) then you should be able to gain 10-20 lbs in a year.

couldn't gain an once. Hydration was the biggest factor. Drinking lots of water lets the body properly absorb what you put in it. I went to 185 in 6-8 months, without trying. Now I can't budge from 185 without some serious work but I've dropped some fat and gained muscle (3" off the waist and 2" on the chest and added about an inch or so on thighs, biceps and shoulders. High metabolism means you'll need more protein than average. That's my lot in life anyway.

i know what its like being skinny man. just eat eat and eat some more. right now im 6ft 146lbs. but i have like no fat at all. just keep bulking. last year i was 6ft 130lbs. and i bulked all summer and got up to 152lbs. but i havent lifted for 8 months cus of sports so i lost a lot of fat and lost maybe a couple pounds of muscle.

I think I basically looked like that, except my arms might've been a little bigger, when I started a little over a year ago. I was 5'10" 150-155, now I'm 5'10" 180 with not much body fat (14.6%, which is not fat off from where I started, if I were to guess).

Just eat and lift heavy. I wouldn't do too many isolation exercises now though, wait till you build mass. Of course, just a suggestion.
