I didn't end up where I wanted to be but then again, I'm still trying. I'm not lean enough here but I have my next contest May 17th in St. Louis. Tell me what you think.
Pre-contest, 6 days to go. (http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/weidmaierbodies/lst?.dir=/April+13&.src=ph&.order=&.view=t&.done=http%3a//photos.yahoo.com/)

looking good, but you def need to get more defined. i dont really have much knowledge of how you should be looking 6 days out so all i'll say is good luck and you look like a monster!

do us all proud!

MONSTER! Again the obliques are the only trouble spot, IMO. Your forearms are so big they start to overshadow the guns, if you can call that a problem /forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif
On pic 7, did you try positioning your hands a little more to he sides to really 'push in' your obs? Being 6 days out I'd really hit the mirror and pose nonstop till you get that illusion just right. Once you get closer to looking like that picture of Lee doing the same pose you'll look twice as big!

Good luck!

back lat spread looks great and the tri pose too! calves are really showing through! still looks like you got a bit of fat on the stomach, side and upper legs, so try to emphasize the poses that hide it like the back poses and the most muscular

most importantly go into the competition with a good attitude and kick some /forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Thanks all for the comments. The obliques are a problem...never thought too much muscle would be a problem!

I have tanned and I'm as dark as I'm going to get with that. I'm start Pro-Tan Tuesday, and that brings out the cuts better. I have pretty good striation in the tricep, shoulders and chest, it's just hard to see there.

You all are right though, I'm not as lean as I should be. I didn't diet down hard enough, early enough. Next time I know better.

Fluffy, believe it or not, most of the residual around the middle is still water. I can't feel any fat at all. Granted, there is some in between muscles, that's why the definition is lacking. I start to dry out on Tuesday as well.

The upper legs I'm still holding fat there, definitely. Never thought I would say, "I have a fat rear end." But guess what, I dooooooo! Tha fat obscures the ham glute tie in. That's what the next four weeks are about. May 17th here I come. Next stop...SHREDDED!

Only one comment on the posing...in your front lat spread pose, really flex your abs to see the definition. Maybe crunch a bit so that 6-pack shows through. You've made some definite improvements in definition since your last posting.

Awesome work my man. Wish ya best of luck at the contest!

I'll post a few more pics the day before the contest so you all can see the difference with Pro-Tan and water depleted.

Thanks all!

How are you cutting out your water intake and also your sodium intake? I suggest you do a pyramid scheme w/ potassium starting Wednesday w/ one 99mg potassium every other hour. Thursday one every hour, Friday two every hour, and saturday (day of the show) three every hour. Then pyramid this back down the following days through tuesday.
With your sodium intake, Cut out all condiments on wednesday, then cut out all light salting on thursday. Then on friday..make sure your not eating any greens and drinking sodium free spring water or distilled. Keep doing this through the show. Your biggest thing right now is trying to make your body look shrink wrapped. I think this will make the difference for you.
I would also suggest you don't even touch your legs (keep them elevated when your not doing anything) except when you are going over your madatories. Also something last minute that might help is squeezing your quads once an hour as hard as you can for one minute. Do nothing but relax w/ your protan on you, on friday.
Any questions email me at chezburger10@aol.com, i'll do my best to answer as quickly as possible. By any chance are you competing in the NPC Twinlab Lee Priest Classic in Austin? If so, i'll be there. I'm traveling in from Ohio on business, but im going to be watcing saturday night when im off.

Thanks for the tips. They are a great help.

Here's my precontest prep
NO carbs since Friday. I've been low carb for 6 weeks now. <40gms /day. Yes...I'm flat right now.

Started potassium Friday as well. 400 mg twice a day.

Tuesday- start to decrease protein by 1/2. 200 gms for that day. Potassium same. Decrease water by 1/2. I'm on distilled now...have been for 11 days. 2.5-3 gal/day. Carbs to one meal...sweet potatoes.

Wednesday- protein to 1/4, carbs to 2 meals. Potassium to one every hour. Water down by another 1/4 to 1 gal/day.

Thursday- protein gone. carbs to 4 meals. potassium to one/hr. Water stops at 8:00pm except for sips.

Friday- All carbs...sweet potatoes. Protein gone. Potassium two per hour. Water to sips.

Saturday- Continue carbs. Water sips. Potassium two per hour, and pray to God it all comes in on time.

What do you think?

Posing hard now. Routine is down. Cardio 2x30' til Wednesday. Workout stops except for posing Wednesday as well. Posing 2x /day starts Wednesday. Nothing Friday.

More info...I've lost 18# of water weight in eleven days. I'm down to 202#. I expect another 5-7# off...hoping for anyway...to 197#. Man I hope it all times out.

Comments welcome.
