My girlfriend and I are trying to find a perfume that smells like flowers or a fruity-kinda scent. I can't exactly describe the smell we're going for but that's as good as I can think of /forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I hope it helps a little, anyway.
Anyway, we've tried countless samples at stores and I can't even begin to say what we've gone through. Can any of you recommend something we might want to try out?
Thanks!

Jean Paul Gaultier is my favorite. I buy it at Macy's for about $60. This is how the website describes it.
[ QUOTE ]
Jean Paul Gaultier is a sharp, oriental, floral fragrance. This feminine scent possesses a blend of fresh spicy amber, vanilla and wood.
Recommended for evening wear.

How about Clinique's "Happy" ? It's more of a light, citrus scent.

Thanks. We'll have to hit the malls soon! Wish us luck /forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif
So far everything recommended (before I asked on this site), has smelled very 'acidy' (for a lack of a better word) when put on her.
I wear Clinique Happy religiously.....I've tried others, but I always go back to it!

try kenzo, you can recognize the bottle coz of the red flower on it, its my favorite perfume at this moment, not too heavy but lingers a long time, not intrusive.

I'm a "happy" fan also. Its the best. However, "Oui!" is also very nice. It is more spicy than Happy, but it is not heavy.
The Body Shop sells essential oils that can be combined to make the scent that you want. Sometimes I wear "satsuma" - it smells like fruity oranges with a little vanilla. They also have tons of other types that you can mix together.

Cool, thanks people!
I've gotta wait till this weekend to go around to stores w/her to try stuff out.
I walked by this girl in the grocery store the other night and she smelled so nice. I would've asked her what it was but didn't want to seem like a nut. /forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
Anyway, that finally pushed me over the edge and I've got to figure out what to get for my girl.

Try Calyx by Prescriptives. It is very light and has a floral/ citrus scent. It is my all time favorite. Federated and Nordstrom stores carry it.

I must admit i am hooked on CK one and Eternity. The smell is awesome. I put it on when i go to the gym so i wouldn't smell like a 200 lb bag of sweat.

Issey Miyake. It is a little more than the average perfume ($100) but well worth it.

We went out this weekend and checked out most of those perfumes. We ended up getting "Oui!", it was the scent I was looking for (or VERY close if not the same one).
