View Full Version : Question to the ladies (for my wife)

My wife has always had really nice breast, not too small, not too large, just perfect. Seven years ago she gave birth to our beautiful boy and she nursed him. After all that was done, she feels that her breasts are "sagging, very sagging" to put it in her words. We've spoken about her having surgery to correct the problem. I wonder if that is wise. Just wanted to see if any women here could give us good advise or place to do research. I personally don't mind how her breast are today, but they are definitely different from when we first got married. They are larger, but not as firm and "hang" really low. Yesterday we were eating out and she had this really nice blue outfit on but her breasts made the top look too small. She says she has a "minimizer" (whatever that is) but it gets too uncomfortable after awhile.
So my question for the ladies is this: Is surgery the only way to correct or improve the problem or would working out make her breasts return to the way they were before the baby came along or give some noticable improvement? Also she is having really bad back aches. Could this be from her large breast?

Hello, I am getting a breast lift with implants this Thursday for the same reasons your wife sited. I will be sure to post my experience so she can learn from anything I go through, as most breast "jobs" are just for the implants, the "lifting" part is a whole other proceedure that's going to leave a more obvious scar that will fade in time.
I found the most helpful site that lists photos from visitors and doctors alike. It has diaries with personal experiences and doctors advice forums that might help you and your wife decide what would be best for you.
I can tell you that working out will not improve the sagging problem. Once gravity has taken it's toll, surgery is your only recourse. A toned chest certainly looks better, but you will just have saggy breasts on a toned chest.
If your wife's breasts are still plenty big enough for you and her to enjoy then you may only want to get "mastopexy" or a breast lift. But usually a small implant is put in to "fill out" the skin of the raised breast and give the breast it's rounded shape again (high and flat boobs aren't much more attractive than low and flat ones - lol). But again, this small implant may not be required depending on the amounts of breast tissue your wife still has.
Here's the best site I found. It even has a "Men's Point of View" forum for husbands and boyfriends to document their role and opinions on their significant other's choice to augment. Hope it helps, and as I said - I'm having my surgery in 4 days....I'll keep you all posted.
