Ok I am recently getting back into the game of weightlifting. I have bounced in and out for the last 6 months but once i moved I was out for 2 months. I started up again last week and Im ready to go.

I currently weigh in at 216 lbs on my 5'8 frame.
I am looking to lose some 30-40 lbs as my overall goal.
Short-term goal is to lose at least 20 lbs (maybe more:)) by the beginning of October, then I will go on a nice bulk until Febuary.

I hope everyone here helps me along and gives me tips and support so I can finally be healthy once again.

Today was supposed to be my quads/hammstring/shoulders day, but i went down for my first warm-up squat and I felt a sharp pain under my left knee. It is very tender so I had to lay off it. I am going to ice it after work tonight and give it a go next time.

I did get in a few sets for my hammys though.

My shoulder workout was OK
3 sets of Arnold presses
3 sets of Reverse flys
3 sets of One armed cable laterals
3 sets of shoulder shrugs

I hate working nights. I always wake up late and never seem to be able to eat enough. Anyways.....

Today is Chest/Tris:
This is what Im planning to do

Chest:
1. Dips
2. Dumbell Bench Press
3. Incline Dumbell Bench Press
4. Machine Flys or Dumbell Flys

Tris:
1. Skullcrackers supersetted w/ close hand bench press
2. close grip push downs
3. Dumbell Kickbacks
4. Behind the back dips

And Im really going to try to get 230 grams of protien today. I have been falling short as of late.

Well Im back to try to post regulary (sp?) Anyways my left knee still bothers me quite a bit. Im buying some glucosomine and see if that works. Tonight I did Quads/hammys/shoulders. Ill start posting workouts and food tommorow. I didnt do squats becasue of my knee so I wussed out and did leg presses. NExt time Ill do squats..Ill work through the pain
