My goal after 12 weeks is to increase wieght to 215 lbs while keeping %BF around 14%.

I just recieved my slimguide skinfold calipers. I updated the numbers. Last week I used some machinist calipers & a dial caliper to measure the skin folds. I got much smaller numbers with the slimguide. The BF% went from 17% to 13%.

I guess I should get my BF% measured at the gym to confirm that I'm doing it right. I followed every instruction I could find concerning taking the skinfold measurements.

If anyone has any comments concerning my physical size, measurements & %BF, please comment. Does 13.9% sound right for the measurements, age & weight shown above?

Well, I actually lost 1 lb this week, I'm going the wrong way!

I'm still on the 24 workout mass blitz. I might not be eating enough calories. I'm taking in about 120 grams of protein per day. (about half of it from shakes & protien bars)

Well, I only gained 1/2lb this week. My bodyfat went down 1.2%. Although I'm not convinced of this. I see that there can be a lot of error involved when using the calipers.

I was surprised to see my forearms increase .75"!
Too be honest, I did not take physical measurements last week, because I figured nothing had changed. So really, my forearms increased .75" over the last 2 weeks. I guess I can understand that, because I've never worked them out before until now.

I am taking in about 200 grams of protein now.

You only need to take BF% EVERY 3 WEEKS.

You need more protein, as showdown said above! Glad to see that you've upped it to 200g. How many calories are you taking in per day? You may need to add more calories as well.

Well, I started out by doing the %BF measurements every week, so I'll keep doing it.

I gained 3 lbs since last week. My %BF is down 1.7% from the time we started the game II.

I don't like these slimguide calipers, they are giving me results that I don't believe to be true. I can guarantee that with my spare tire, I'm not at 11.8% BF. I think the springs on the slimguide are too strong, giving skinfold measurements that are too small. I think I'm around 15-16% BF, not 11-12% like I'm getting with the plastic slimguide calipers. Since I started with the slimguide calipers, I'll just continue doing the measurements the same way so I can compare from week to week.

Well, pretty much at a standstill this week. Although, my %BF keeps decreasing little by little.

I guess if you look at my lean mass weight:

Start LBM: 176.6 lb

Current Weight: 205.5 lb
Current LBM: 182.9 lb

I guess I'm happy about replacing 4.8 lb of fat with LBM in 4 weeks.

Well, I hate to do this guys, but I'm ending my bulk. I will still keep posting my results here, but I am starting the 13 weeks to hardcore fat burning program. I'm encouraged with my decrease in %BF throughout this bulk, but it's time to loose the **** spare tire!

My goal after the end of the 13 week program is to weigh 198 lbs and get my %BF down to around 10%.

Now as I've said before, I think the %BF measurements above are bogous because of my plastic calipers. Right now it's saying I'm 11% BF, I think a more realistic number is 15%. So when I say I want to get to 10%, that means I need to get down to 6% with my calipers.

I still need to get my %BF measured at the gym to see how far off my plastic calipers are.

So all in all, during this bulk I've gained approximately 7 lbs of LBM, while decreasing my %BF by 2.7%. Not real great numbers, but I'll take them!
