BAsically this is my first post. Im gonna recap the last year for my first entry in this journal.
I am 5'9.5'' and 196lbs I lifted really hard during my soph year of high school. I got my bench up to 260 and my squat up to around 375. During the summer i did not lift at all.(Big mistake) and it really hurt me going into my first year of Varsity Football. I still started but I lacked big time from where I should have been. I did not get to start lifting again until October. When I did, I was benching 225, and squating around 360.
I learned from my mistakes and started hitting the weights like I never did before as soon as the season ended. By December My Bench was 255 and my Squat was a tremendous 435. I kept going and during my last testing period in February. I benched 275 and squated 450 I also now have a 27inch vertical. I am planning on hitting around 310 on the bench by the end of may and 495 on the squat rack. I must say without Jacob and his advice, I wouldnt be nearly as close to my goals as I am.
Right now I am on a cut. And I need advice bigtime. I have never cut before and would really like some assitance if anyone on this board could help me I would really appreciate it. I am 196lbs right now and want to get down to 185 by the end of march. DOES ANYONEHAVE ANY ADVICE???
