I was just wondering if soy whey was the same as soy protien and what were some good recipes that I could make. smilies/psilon2_c_p.gif

There is soy protein and whey protein. You may have some kind of mixture of the two, but they are definitely not the same. I have not used soy protein yet (heard it tastes like crap), but Jacob suggests that you cycle in when you are on the 12-week diet plan (something about your thyroid). I believe there is some info about this in the 12-week diet article in the magazine above.
I personally love whey protein and I believe that is what most everyone uses all the time. Some of the people who have a little more money to spend also get different blends of protein, such as whey and egg protein. Some whey proteins are filtered, but all you need is the cheap 100% whey protein.
If you want some GREAT recipes for shakes (using whey and/or soy protein), go to the recipe forum and look all through that forum. I have found some great recipes on the first couple of pages of that forum (when it first started). Welcome to the board!

Yes, soy is no where near as complete a protein as meat or whey protein. Its not very good for muscle growth at all.
