One of the articles on fat that you posted said you shouldnt cook with oil s as it rearranges and malforms the fatty acid chains making it difficult for the human body to recognize it..causing it to give you a higher risk of heart disease

They would live in the country, only walk, ride a bike or if your Amish- use a horse and cart. You would use uncented, unbleached toilet paper. Never take a prescription or OTC drug, even to save your life. Of course, TV, computers, Cordless and cell phones, even an electric bedside clock would not be used because of EMF's!
You would not read magazines, periodicals, or go to the theater because of excessive hormanal stimulation! Along those same lines you would avoid stressful events like BB and cardio, and try to create balance and calmness in all aspects of living!
So what really is healhty? John, I really don't understand why you would throw something like that at me. I'm really glad you pulled last night's post on" Dr. Pain, since you know so much" when you saw that it could be misconstrued as a quiz, but your mannerism in the way you commuicate with me could really use some polishing!

Exacty Doc...but since that will never happen. Why not cheat every once in a while!! That is what will keep us sane.
John...everyone cheats! Food tastes good and every now and then, we need something that pleases our taste buds. Plus, it never hurts to shock your body with a 'bad' meal every 4-5 days!

Two questions, Doc:
1. Is that grated parmesean the "real" stuff, or the stuff I put on pizza. (Did I say pizza? I meant egg whites! smilies/bluelaugh.gif )
2. I'm thinking I'd have to add some shrooms. (Guess that's not a question.) Also might saute some fresh garlic and/or ginger in the oil too.
Thanks for the recipe. That one'll have to wait til my Man's out of town--he's sooo fussy! I'm printing it now....

Mg, naw ,Sam's club 3# grated in a plastic jar!
Use to add garlic, ginger will ruin it, now I just add some crushed red pepper because the garlic leaves you craving sweets!
DP

Really? I didn't know that! I use garlic ALL the time! Hmmmm....
Thanks for the info on the ginger. I would have tried that.

A good way to use the ginger would be to make the same dish, use safflower and hot seasame oil instead and green onions for yellow
add your mushrooms, maybe some snow peas and water chesnuts, then instead of a white sauce, make a ginger peanut butter sauce
diced ginger
saute in a little oil
salt or soy sauce
cayenne or red peppers to taste
2 tbls of PB
add water gradually, PB makes it thicher until a point, then pour over and stir into shrimp and veggies
