Okay, tuna lovers, here's a staple in my household. Raised on the stuff, and we called it Yellow Glue on Rice. This is a tuna casserole dish that's loaded with protein and low in fat:
Ingredients:
2 cups skim milk
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons curry powder
1 teaspoon yellow or red curry base (optional)
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
4 cans tuna (dark is better--more flavor!)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except tuna in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a saucepan and bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer. Stir frequently until sauce thickens. Add drained tuna (save the tuna water for the kitties!) and mix well.
Serve over brown rice.
Preparation time (not including rice): 15 minutes.
Variations: Increase the amount of curry to taste. Add crushed red pepper to make even spicier.

Thanks for the recipe. Haven't tried it yet because I don't even know what some of that stuff is. I'm not much of a cook. I'll have to get my girlfriend to help out on that. I'll let you know how it we like it and thanks again.

Hey Mountain, this sounds really good. I love tuna casserole, but do you have any nutritional numbers for this, like how much protein, carbs and fats...

Your calculations would be as good as mine--perhaps better. Just figure it out from the ingredients....
Sorry, Fireman kicks *** at that, but I just go with what ingredients I know are good for bodybuilders....
Enjoy--it's good stuff! Spicy!

Looks good,
Tuna – good, Curry – better, Brown rice – oh well.
Just one question – how big are your cans? I get 400g cans

No problemo. It's a staple in my house--we eat it all the time!
(BTW, avoid the tuna in a bag. It's nasty! Just use regular tuna in water.)
