The only place natural that you are going to find glutamine is your own body, your body produces large amounts of glutamine. But because bb need so much of it, we need extra sources. I believe the only place you will find it is in protein shakes and as a seperate suppliment. I heard once that glutamine is found in turkey, unknown source but it might be true. It is not that expensive as a suppliment, and 10 grams daily is not much at all. I actually make sure that I get enough, so I try and take 35 grams a day.... too much is not bad in this case.

No, that is something completely different John. Glutamic Acid is found in many foods, and isn't a bb's best friend like good old glutamine. smilies/cheeburga_ron.gif

they are not completely different...
their relation is that glutamine is converted to glutamic acid when a protein is hydrolyzed.
L-Glutamine can be found in protein powders, beans, meats, fish, poultry, dairy products, and some plants (i.e. beets, carrots, and radishes).
This does not mean that you should go and try to get glutamic acid through these sources, b/c it will not react in the body the same way glutamine does. and most sources do not contain enough to reach the amounts needed daily. Glutamine should be supplemented.

Yeh whoistheman was awesome. Why don't you just ask the question more clearly bro?
Ask, do you need to supplement glutamine.
Also its in the magazine. smilies/deal.gif Allot of your questions are like tests. If you make them more clear then you will get clearer answers. smilies/images/icons/wink.gif Not only that but their are allot of professionals on the board and doctors, they get paid lots of money to give advice and they are answering your questions for free. So you don't have to be rude. Besides theres no point in being rude. Hell professional advice for free! Sounds great to me!
