I had so much to gulp down that I made 2 drinks after the workout. These are pretty good so you might want to try them yourself:

Drink 1:
1)40 grams of gatorade mix - sugar fights that **** catabolism!
2)2 scoops Whey Protein
3)12 oz. water - I would have chosen milk, but water goes better with the gatorade

BLEND BLEND BLEND

now the protein has a clean shot into the system, good job!

Wait a short time for the protein to absorb, the sugar rush should still be on. Don't wait too long because you want the glutamine to still be effective. Not more than 5 minutes I would say. Protein absorbs fairly fast in these conditions.

Drink 2
1)Creatine and Glutamine - had to put these in a second drink because the protein has first priority to the body
2)2 tablespoons low sugar/fat peanut butter
3)glass of milk

BLEND BLEND BLEND

After this you may feel hyper from the gatorade mix, which I am kinda shaky while typing this. Great bulk/recover drink combo!

By the way, this would be a great time to throw a multi-vitamin down your throat.

actually your choice of water rathere them milk was a good one especially since you already have to scoops of protein the extra protein in the milk would have gone to waste

actually, thats not enough carbs to replenish glycogen OR to stimulate insulin [ unless your tryin to cut, than thats a great shake]. when tryin to gain, your pst w/o drink should have a 4:1 carb/pro ratio. that's scientific fact

i think hes got enough carbs just his ratio is messed to much protein is the answer maybe one scoop of protein and same gatorade

do you have any idea how much sugar comes out of 40 grams of gatorade mix. I had one of the biggest sugar highs that I think I have ever had! Trust me, that would **** sure spike your insulin level. Your body would fight to get out of catabolism after this one.
