YES MAKE THEM ALL WITH MILK.MILK HAS 8 GRAMS OF PROTEIN PER CUP. SO WITH 3 CUPS OF MILK AND 2 tablespoons of peanutbutter you got a nice shake with 32 grams of protein!

Welcome to the board bigguy!!
LMAO...since you did not say that is had to taste good, i could write up a bunch of great protein shakes!!
for example...toss some milk in, the some turkey, few eggs, banana for a little taste, etc...lol...just playin'!! but you could.
peanut butter is one of the best things to add to a shake. since i too am not that crafty with a blender (usually use whey and other stuff) i cannot think of anything right now. if i think of anything i will post it later.
SingingGal is pretty crafty, maybe she'll post some shakes for ya!!

16 ounces NATURAL peanut butter
8 ounces pure honey
2 cups oatmeal
2 cups protein powder(anyflavor)
Add peanut butter and honey, nuk in the microwave just enough to warm it.
Stir in oatmeal and powder.
Press flat in cake pan refridgerate. Cut into 12 bars and wrap.

The only shake that I have tried that tastes good is EAS Myoplex shakes, besides that they were all crap. I just want a tasteless shake that I can throw bananas and peaches in to add taste.

Hey, I know this is kind of off subject, but is there such a thing as whey protein powder without a taste? I have always wanted some, but never could find any! If there is such a thing, can you tell me who makes it? smilies/drool.gif

You can order it online at www.proteinfactory.com (http://www.proteinfactory.com)
They have all different kinds and you can customize a mixture and order it with the flavor of your choice. Simply don't chose a flavor and you get it unflavored which I have heard is pretty nasty. I have bought alot of protein powder there, there site can be trusted and it is cheap.

I love shakes and used to belong to a board where they posted many many recipes. Here are a few of my faves (most are bulking shakes)
Butterfinger
1/2 cup milk
1--2 scoops chocolate whey powder
1 Tblsp. natural peanut butter
1 tsp. cocoa
3-4 pkts. Splenda (or other sweetener)
5-6 ice cubes
Put the above in blender and whir till smooth. If the cubes don't enter the blade as they should, turn off the blender and poke them down several times as you pulse blend.
**************************************************
Using Chocolate Protein Drink Powder, add 2 Tablespoons of Natural Peanut Butter, 2 Tablespoons Ricotta Cheese (lf), 1 packet Stevia, 1 cup water, and 3 ice cubes. Voila! Chocolate Peanut Butter Shake!
**************************************
Using Vanilla Protein Powder, add 2 Tablespoons Ricotta Cheese (lf), 1 packet Stevia, 1 cup water, 3 ice cubes, one fresh peach, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Presto! Vanilla-Peach Shake!
***************************************
Basic Yogurt Shake:
This is particularly good with berries/fruit.
1/2 water
1/4 cup of Whole Milk, plain, yogurt
1 scoop Protein Powder
1 package stevia/splenda or to taste
If the fruit is frozen, no ice cubes are needed
Using the basic yogurt shake above you can add the following variations for different flavours.
Pumpkin:
2 blocks of frozen pumpkin (ice cube size)
1/4 t pumpkin pie spice
1 t sugar free maple syrup
pinch of salt.
Pie spice:
mix a large batch of this so it's always on hand.
2t Cinnamon,
1t ginger,
1/2t cloves.
Butterfinger:
1 Tb Penzey's Dutch Cocoa powder
2 TB Peanut butter
York Peppermint Patty:
1 Tb Penzey's Dutch Cocoa powder
peppermint extract to taste (usually 1/8-1/4t)
Mounds:
1 Tb. Penzey's Dutch Cocoa powder
4 blocks of Coconut Milk(to replace the ice cubes)
coconut extract to taste
Chocolate Banana:
1 Tb Penzey's Dutch Cocoa Powder
1/2 t Banana Extract or to taste
Cantaloupe:
1/2 cup of Cantaloupe
Blueberry:
1/3 cup blueberries
Lemon extract to taste
Eggnog
1 tsp. Rum extract
pinch of salt
You may want to add additional sweetner
top with nutmeg
I'm sure you'll find something in there that you like.

ahhh....a tuna shake that might actually work!!!!
I barely ever drink Cola's, but I know when I have a coke with tuna, it really tones down the tuna flavour. I'm going to do that one for sure.

El Dopa you are one brave man, but please let us know how it taste,
But isn't the coke not a good thing because of all the sugar in it?

like I said, I don't normally drink coke, but as a pre/post workout meal, it's excellent.
