Standing One Legged Calf Raise on a Two By Four

Here we work each calf independently of the other. 

Implementation: (A)  Place a two by four or a plate next to a wall.  Place both hands on the wall for support and step forward with one foot onto the two by four.  The opposite foot should rest in mid air against the foot being worked.  Your heel should be hanging off the board and your toes should be planted firmly on it.  (B)

Lower your heel as much as possible getting a full stretch, then drive back up onto your toes. Finish your set, then do the same with the other leg.
