Squat Raises

As far as mass is concerned, these are on a par with donkey calf raises.  Specifically when it comes to building up the gastrocnemius. In other words, if your calves are at a plateau, these will break them out!

Implementation:  (AJust as you would a squat, rest a barbell on the back of your shoulders.  (B)  Squat all the way down until your hamstrings touch your calves.  (C)  In this position perform normal calf raises.  Raise your calves up, pause for a contraction at the top and slowly lower.  Continue till your set is complete.  Note:  You can do this with a board under your feet for a better stretch.
