Side Towel Neck Resistance

This is one of the best exercises for working the side neck muscles.

Implementation:  (A)  Rollup a towel and place the middle of it directly onto the the left side of your head.  Grasp the remaining ends of the towel with your left hand and lean your head to your right side. (B) Pull the towel using your neck to your left side with your left hand resisting the towel, pause and then lower slowly under control to the starting position, resisting all the way down while your hands continue to apply pressure the whole way. 

note:  since your pulling your neck to your left side, the resistance with the towel must be against this in the opposite direction.  Finish reps with left side and repeat with right.
