Face Foreward Towel Neck Resistance

This is one of the best exercises for working the rear neck muscles.

Implementation:  (A)  Rollup a towel and place the middle of it directly onto the back of your head.  Grasp the remaining ends of the towel with your left and right hand. Now with your hands holding the towel and keeping it in place, lean all the way forward.  (B)  Applying resistance with on the towel bring your neck backward, pause and then lower slowly under control to the starting position, resisting all the way down while your hands continue to apply pressure the whole way. 

note:  since your pressing your neck backward, the resistance one the towel must be pulling in the opposite direction.
