Partial Reps
Partial Repetitions are a tremendously great way to force your muscles into adaptation after they have reached failure! Partial reps are best used at the end of a set, when you are almost totally fatigued. For example, if you were leg extensions and you could not manage another full rep you could continue the set with several partial reps, lifting the weight only half way up and perhaps only a fourth of the way up, the burn in your quads will be tremendous and you will shock them into shure growth if this technique is used correctly!
