What Exercise Accomplishes:
These calf raises develop the thickness of the back
of the calves. Donkey Calf Raises truly make your calves look huge when viewed
from the side.
Implementation: (A) Place your toes on a block, bend
forward from the waist, and lean on a bench to support or use a Donkey Calf
machine. Your toes should be directly below your hips. Your partner can add
resistance by seating himself across your hips, as far back as possible to keep
pressure off the lower back.
(B) With your toes pointed straight ahead, lower
your heels as far as possible and feel a great stretch, then push up on your
toes until your calves get a peak contraction. You'll bounce your partner around
whenever you cheat, so ask him to tell you when This is a great mass builder!
